Supporting local families and individuals in need.

Men’s and Women’s weekly Bible study

Meeting each week, our men’s (Wednesday, 8:30am) and women’s (Tuesday, 9am) Bible study groups provide thoughtful devotion and fellowship in a personal setting. Recently we’ve been focused on the Book of Concord.

M.O.P.S. (Mothers of pre-schoolers)

Designed for women with young children to come together for support, encouragement, and fun! We learn from each other, grow together and (hopefully) make lasting friendships right in our own neighborhoods.

Meetings are the second Tuesday of each month from 9am - 11am during the school year. Child care is provided at no cost.

Guitar Lessons

Offered at no charge Mondays at 6:30pm (youth) and 7:30pm (adults) in our Fellowship Hall.

Annual Baby goods Drive

Each year from Mother’s Day to Father’s Day we collect diapers and other baby items for donation to the Lincoln Park Crisis Pregnancy Center.

Serve Sunday

Partnering with other Downriver congregations, we gathered at Christ the King Southgate to put together hygiene kits to be sent for disaster relief when and where needed. This October was the first of what we hope will be an annual even.

Mid-Week Services (Lent and Advent)

During the seasons of Lent and Advent, mid-week (Wednesday) services are available as a supplement to your weekly worship.

Special Services

Holy Week - Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Saturday Easter Vigil, Sunrise Easter Service (followed by Easter Dawn Breakfast), Easter Morning Service.

Advent by candlelight

One of the hallmarks of our Advent observance is the annual Advent by Candlelight event. This popular event includes music, devotion, food, and fellowship.

Breakfast with Santa

Each December, Santa takes a break from his busy schedule to visit our breakfast event.
